How fees are structured
In most Australian gymnastics programs, fees are made up of a few parts. Some parts relate to running classes locally, and some parts relate to registration and insurance through the sport’s governing structures.
- Class fees - coaching, facility time, equipment use, and day-to-day running costs.
- Registration and insurance components - commonly required for participation and cover arrangements in organised programs.
- Optional program costs - only where relevant (for example, events or competition pathways).
Registration and insurance - why it exists
Gymnastics is a physical sport. Registration and insurance arrangements are a normal part of organised gymnastics programs, and some components are set annually at a governing-body level and are compulsory for participation in those programs.
Invoicing and payment terms
Registration and class selections happen online. Invoicing is issued after registrations are complete and class places are confirmed.
- Payment is strictly due within 14 days from the invoice date.
- We use digital invoicing and payments - no cash payments are accepted at the gym.
- If an account becomes overdue, class access may be paused until the account is brought up to date.
If payment is difficult - please talk to us early
We understand real life happens - job changes, illness, family stress, unexpected bills. You are not alone. The most important thing is to come forward early so we can discuss options.
- Early contact gives us more room to help with a practical plan.
- Silence makes it harder. Small issues can become bigger issues for families and the club.
- We aim to handle financial conversations with respect and confidentiality.
Keeping your details up to date
Our system relies on accurate contact details. If emails bounce or phone numbers are wrong, invoices and updates can be missed. Please keep these details current at all times.
- Use an email address you actually check.
- Update your phone number if it changes.
- Let us know if emergency contact details change.
What may cost extra (only when relevant)
Not every child will have additional costs. Where extra costs apply, we will communicate clearly and as early as possible.
- Events, displays, or competition-related expenses (only for those streams).
- Uniform or apparel requirements (if introduced for a specific program).
- Replacement cards or administration work when accounts require repeated follow-up.
Credits, refunds, and missed classes
Gym time and coaching are scheduled in advance. For that reason, missed classes are usually not refundable. If the club cancels a class, we will offer a reasonable make-up option or credit where appropriate.
Keeping fees as low as we can
We are a community-focused club. We work hard to keep fees as low as we reasonably can while still delivering safe coaching and sustainable programs. If you have questions about an invoice item, please ask - we would rather explain it properly than leave people unsure.
